Graduated from the École Supérieure des Arts -ESA St Luc- Brussels (Be) and sensitized from childhood to the field of art by my multi-cultural roots, I first worked as an interior designer and tought plastic arts. But painting imposed itself on me from 1991 to become, in 2000, my privileged means of expression. In 2001, I obtained the International Gold Medal for Painting from the European Academy of Arts. Weaving links between music, literature and painting, I exhibit in cultural spaces and participate in painting fairs and artist journeys in Belgium. The Portuguese Embassy in Brussels organized an exhibition of my works in 2005, just before my departure for China, where I exhibited three times solo, in Shanghai in 2006 and 2007. Back in Europe, my works are exhibited in Belgium, France, Portugal, Israel. In 2010, I moved to Paris. In 2011, I became a member of the Taylor Foundation - Paris (Fr). I continue to explore the border between the figurative and the abstract in acrylic painting with all the more interest as I feel a shift accentuated by my stay in China. From 2015, the Mediterranean took center stage in my work, my more violent palette reflects human wandering. Then the planetary confinement leads me to deepen my research on the notions of traces and memory. My work has been punctuated every year since 2016, by the production of musical kakemonos made for the classical music festival “Jeux de Vagues” in Dinard (Fr) where I resource my literary and musical inspirations. All of my work is an invitation to an inner journey through different levels of reading. My work was selected at the Salon d'Automne 2020 - Paris.
